  • Now then, the target is a big one but the wicket is good to bat on. Zimbabwe will need to bat sensibly if they want to chase this down. Bangladesh would back themselves to defend it. Join us for the chase in a bit.
  • The Zimbabwe bowlers weren't that great! They did manage to take wickets at the right time but were offering too many bad balls too. Every bowler went for over 5 per over. However, all of them except for Raza managed to pick a wicket. Still though, they will not be happy with their performance.
  • End of a brilliant batting performance from the hosts! It was led by Liton Das who scored a brilliant ton. He had partnerships with Tamim, Rahim, Shanto and Mahmudullah. However, all the other 4 only managed to get off to starts but failed to make use of it. Mithun however, made use of the start he got and scored a useful half ton that too in quick time. However, Saifuddin's innings could be the match-winning one. His cameo has taken Bangladesh to a total which should be defended by them.
  • 49.6 A single to end! Shorter and on the body, this is hit hard down towards long on for one. 22 from the last over and BANGLADESH END WITH 321!
  • 49.5 SIX! Hold the pose! Saifuddin you beauty! That is some shot. It is full and on middle, Saifuddin lofts it with a straight bat and clears the long off fence with relative ease.
  • 49.4 Nicely played! A yorker outside off, it is carved out towards deep point for two.
  • 49.3 SIX! Back-to-back biggies for Saifuddin! One brings two and that is exactly the case for him. This one goes just over though. It is full and on middle, Saifuddin lofts it well over the long on fielder and into the fence.
  • 49.2 SIX! Finally connects with one does Saifuddin. It is a slower ball on middle, MS waits for it and hammers it well over the mid-wicket fence.
  • 49.1 Swing and a miss! Saiffudin is looking to hit the ball a little too hard. It is short and outside off, Saifuddin swings but misses.
  • 49.1 WIDE! That si very, very wide. Almost close to a no ball as it almost pitched outside the pitch. Wided.
  • 48.6 A single to end which means Saifuddin regains the strike! A low full toss on off, it is hit down to long off for one. 299/6
  • A huge roar from the crowd as out comes their skipper, Mashrafe Mortaza to bat.
  • 48.5 OUT! Hasan holes out! Mpofu has the last laugh. This is bowled slightly short and on middle, Hasan looks to pull but gets it high on the bat. He holes out to the fielder in the deep mid-wicket region.
  • 48.4 SIX! Hasan connects with one and it sails over the fence. Misses his length by a little and Mpofu pays the price. It is full and on middle, Hasan tonks it well over the mid-wicket fence for a biggie.

  • 47.4 FOUR! Lovely placement! Not an easy shot that. It is a slower one, it is shorter in length and there is extra bounce. Mithun gets on top of the bounce and guides it nicely through point for a boundary. Brings up his fifty in good style. Needs to help his team finish well here.

An appeal goes up but the umpire shakes his head. Zimbabwe review straight away! Replays roll in and it shows it is hitting the pad and the on-field call has to be overturned. A good wicket as this could easily mak a difference of at least 10 runs to the final total.

  • 45.4 On off, it is kept out towards covers for one.
  • 45.3 EDGED, DROPPED AND FOUR! A tough chance though. Bangladesh won't care how they come as long as they do. It races down to the third man fence.
