  • Wickets fell at regular intervals after that and Windies ended with 190. So then, Bangladesh need 191 off 120 balls. Won't be easy but they will take this rather than chasing 230-240 which looked possible at one time. The chase will be back in sometime.
  • The Windies carnage though did not stop and Lewis especially, continued in his merry ways. What changed the whole complexion was when Mahmudullah was brought on. Even Lewis found it difficult to get him away and the off-spinner ended with figures of 3-18, definitely the star with the ball. The 3 wickets included the wicket of Lewis and that completely turned the innings' momentum around.
  • What a comeback from Bangladesh! An innings of two halves! Windies had 123 in the first 10 overs and did not manage to reach the 200-run mark. Courtesy the fact that they have lost the last 6 wickets for 31 runs and also lost their way completely. The innings started off in electric fashion, with the openers Evin Lewis and Shai Hope going bonkers. They had added 76 runs before the latter got out on the last ball of the fifth over.
  • 19.2 OUT! Mahmudullah has collected it cleanly and to be sure, he also takes the stumps out with the ball in his hand. That is the end of the Windies innings and THEY HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 190! This is fired on the pads, the batsman works it towards square leg. Cottrell wants a run, Thomas is late to see his partner coming and he then responds. Shakib at short fine leg, collects the ball and throws it to Mahmudullah who takes the bails off after collecting the throw. The umpire goes upto check if it has been taken cleanly and the bails have been dislodged after the ball is collected. Replays confirm it has.
  • HIs that the end of the Windies innings? Bangladesh are surely celebrating as a run out appeal has been taken upstairs. The batsman is way short but has Mahmudullah collected the ball cleanly.
  • 19.1 Flatter and on middle, Cottrell works it towards mid-wicket for a run.
  • Mahmudullah to bowl the last over.
  • 18.6 Outside off, kept out off the back foot. 189/9
  • Oshane Thomas is the last man.
  • 18.5 OUT! Shakib has two in the over now! What a stunner from the keeper! Fuller length and Rutherford goes for the huge slog over mid-wicket but gets an outside edge and the ball completely changes its direction. Rahim though does well to grab it and hold on to the ball. Windies in a risk of being bowled out here.
  • 18.4 Flatter delivery on middle, Rutherford goes to slog and misses the ball completely.
  • 18.3 Flatter delivery on middle, Cottrell comes ahead to defend but the ball takes the inside edge and onto his pads. The batsmen run through for a quick single.
  • Sheldon Cottrell is the new man in.
  • 18.2 OUT! Stumped! Beaten in the air and Allen is at deep waters. Flighted up generously and Fabian comes down the wicket to go for a huge one. Shakib sees this and slows it down. Allen goes with the shot but misses the ball completely. Rahim completes the stumping, which is a mere formality. Windies are falling apart at the fag end here.
  • 18.1 Outside off and very full! Rutherford goes for the huge slog and misses the ball. Mushfiq behind the stumps also can't collect it properly and the batsmen run through for a bye.
  • Shakib Al Hasan to bowl the penultimate over of the innings.
  • 17.6 A couple to end the 18th. A full toss on middle, it is flicked through mid-wicket and a brace results. 187/7
  • 17.5 Excellent bowling! This is what he should be bowling. A yorker outside off, Allen fails to jam it out.
  • 17.4 FOUR! Excellent shot and a much-needed boundary for the Windies. It is short and on middle, a poor ball with no deep mid-wicket in place. Allen pulls it over the short mid-wicket fielder and it trickles into the fence.
  • 17.3 Another single! So just 2 from the first 3 balls. Full and outside off, Rutherford tries to drive but gets an outside edge to third man for a single.
  • 17.2 A full toss, Allen tries to go over the off side but mistimes it down to long on for a single. A good start to the 18th over.
  • 17.1 Extra bounce there! Short and outside off, Allen goes to cut but is beaten by the extra bounce.
  • 16.6 Short of a length and at the hips, Allen drops it on the leg side and gets off the mark with a single. Also, keeps the strike. 179/7
  • Fabian Allen is the new man in.
  • 16.5 OUT! Caught! Brilliant field placement by Bangladesh. Outside off on a fuller length, Braithwaite went to drive this one through the covers but the ball takes the outside edge and goes straight to Mehidy at a position which would have been a fourth slip. Wonderful captaincy. The hosts seem to have done their homework. Windies losing their way after an explosive first half and this might come to hurt them in the end.
  • 16.4 Rutherford gets off the mark in T20Is with a single worked down the leg side towards the square leg fence.
  • 16.3 Length ball outside off and comes in after landing, looks like the cutter. Rutherford who was looking to defend it on the off side gets an inside edge onto the pads.
  • 16.2 Outside off and the WIN skipper opens the face of the bat and runs it down to third man for a single.
  • Sherfane Rutherford is in at number 8.
  • 16.1 OUT! Excellent adjustment and wonderfully taken by Abu Hider in the end. Seemed to have picked it up late but manages to hold on. This ball is outside off on a length, Pooran tries to maximize and hit it over long off for a maximum but gets the top edge. The ball goes towards third man and Abu sees it late, but comes in well in time and takes it perfectly in the end. This wicket has come at a good time for the hosts. Pooran is a guy who can play big shots and hurt you at the end of the innings.
  • 15.6 BEATEN! Full outside off, Brathwaite looks to drive but gets beaten on this one. 176/5
  • 15.5 FOUR! Poor delivery from Saifuddin. Good shot from Brathwaite. Short of length delivery, Carlos pulls it through mid-wicket for a boundary.
  • 15.4 Full on off, Pooran drives it towards point. The batsmen take a run.

  • 15.3 WIDE! Full outside off, Carlos chases at it but misses it.
  • 15.2 Length delivery on middle, Pooran looks to scoop and paddles it towards the leg side. The batsmen take a run.
  • 15.1 Wide outside off, Pooran looks to drive but misses it.
  • 14.6 Nicholas guides this one outside off down to third man and keeps the strike for the next over. 168/5
  • 14.5 FOUR! Another swivel and a pull from Pooran. He manages to find the gap to the left of backward square leg. The fielder comes around and dives full-length but cannot stop the ball.
  • 14.4 Ouch! This has hit the leg umpire. Short of a length and pulled away but the ball is fast and finds the leg umpire who can't evade the ball in time. The fielder in the deep is hence wrong-footed and the batsmen manage to come back for two.
  • 14.3 Length ball outside off, pushed away on the back foot to the point fielder.
  • 14.2 Bouncer! Good delivery from the Fizz. Caught Pooran by surprise. He takes his eyes off and looks to hook it but is beaten. The umpire signals '1 for the over'.
  • 14.1 Length ball on off to start, Braithwaite guides it down to third man for a single.
  • Mustafizur Rahman is back for another spell.
  • 13.6 Another run out chance! Mahmudullah from over the wicket fires it on the pads, Pooran defends it on the leg side, beside the pitch. Brathwaite wants a run but is sent back. Rahim gets to the ball but his throw is not a good one at the non-striker's end. CB makes it in. 160/5
  • 13.5 NOT OUT! Tossed up on leg, Carlos nudges it to the leg side and sets off. Pooran hesitates at first but then goes for it. Mahmudullah gets to the ball quickly, throws it to the keeper who whips the bails off and appeals. The umpire takes it upstairs and replays show that the dive has saved Pooran. A direct hit was needed. However, NP survives to fight another day.
  • We have gone upstairs for a run out decision. The keeper has whipped off the bails and the man in question is Pooran. Could be touch and go.
  • Carlos Braithwaite comes to the crease at number 7.
  • 13.4 OUT! Rovman Powell departs! Short on middle, Rovman pulls it over mid-wicket but does not get enough on it. The fielder in the deep, Liton Das, takes a comfortable catch. Windies lose their fifth wicket.

  • 12.6 FOUR! 10 off 2 to end the over! The ball is drilled full outside off but Pooran gets under the ball and puts it wide of mid off for a boundary. After 14 runs in the last 3 overs, this one has gone for 17. 151/4
  • 12.5 SIX! This time from Pooran! Short and asking for punishment, the left-hander rocks back and pulls it over deep mid-wicket for a maximum.
  • 12.4 Goes for the huge one but does not connect with this properly. The ball just rolls down to long on for a single.
  • 12.3 A good comeback by the bowler. Powell comes ahead and defends this into the ground watchfully.
  • 12.2 SIX! Lifted away and all the way for a huge one over mid-wicket. This was fuller and quicker on middle. Rovman goes down on his knee and smashes it over the deep mid-wicket fence.
  • 12.1 Almost snuck in! This flatter one on middle and off gets the inside edge of Powell as he tries to push this back down the ground. It goes onto his pads.
  • 11.6 Another single to end the over off the backfoot. Powell keeps strike. Only 5 runs off this over. Good bowling from Mahmudullah. 134/4
  • 11.5 Another one outside off stump, Pooran rocks back and picks up a run to the fielder deep on the offside.
  • 11.4 Wide outside off and fuller, Powell pushes this to long off and gets to the other end.
  • 11.3 Wide outside off, pushed away to the deep cover fielder for a single.
  • 11.2 Another flatter one on middle, this one climbs on him and he manages to push it out to mid-wicket. The batsmen go for a quick single and the fielder has a shy at the non-striker's end but misses.

  • 9.5 Floated on off, Pooran drives it back to the bowler.
  • 9.4 No hat-trick as Pooran plays this watchfully. It is short and outside off, NP guides it to point.
  • Nicholas Pooran to face the hat-trick ball.
  • 9.3 OUT! No inside edge and it is clipping the leg pole. Two-in-two for Mahmudullah and Bangladesh are crawling their way into the game. A golden duck for Hetmyer. This is fired on middle, Hetmyer tries to play across the line but misses. The ball hits him on the pads. An appeal follows and the umpire raises the finger after giving it a thought. Hetmyer reviews straightaway. Replays show the on-field call is the right one.
  • Have Bangladesh got another? Hetmyer has been given out LBW on the first ball. He though has reviewed immediately. An inside edge? Maybe.
  • Shimron Hetmyer is the new man in.
  • 9.2 OUT! BOWLED 'EM! No 100 for Evin Lewis and Bangladesh will be relieved to see the back of the opener. Excellent bowling change and Mahmudullah has delivered. Once again it is tossed up slower around off. Lewis goes for the slog sweep but misses it completely. The ball hits the off stump and Evin has to take the long walk back. Nevertheless, an excellent innings from him. He has laid the foundation for the batsmen to come. Can they capitalize?
  • 9.1 Flatter and outside off, Lewis slaps it down towards long off. It is to his right so a couple is taken.
  • Mahmudullah is on.
  • 8.6 A full toss but surprisingly Evin Lewis does not take full toll of it. He may have been surprised there as he hits it down to long on for a run. 120/2

  • 8.4 Goes full on middle, Lewis hits it down towards long on for a couple.
  • 8.3 Better! Bowls it from over the wicket and closer to the off pole. It is left alone.
  • 8.2 FOUR! Again! Back-to-back boundaries! Not sure if this is the right field with the bowler bowling from around the wicket. It is short and outside off, Lewis cuts it through point for a boundary.
  • 8.1 FOUR! We have seen power from Lewis now we see finesse. Slightly short and outside off, Lewis waits for it and guides it past short third man for a boundary.
  • 8.1 Changes the angle and comes from around the wicket. Bowls it way outside off, it is left alone. Wided.
  • 7.6 Pushes it down to long off for a run. So what was turning out to be a good over for Bangladesh has ended in a good way for the Windies. 10 from it. 108/2
  • 7.5 SIX! That is why I said he did the right thing. Everything Lewis hits is going over the rope. Makes room and tonks the ball on middle over the long on fence.
  • 7.4 Now does the right thing, works it through mid-wicket and gives the strike to Lewis.
  • 7.3 Two dots in a row! A yorker outside off, Powell tries to jam it out but misses.
  • 7.2 A defensive stroke! Not seen that a lot today. However, Powell gets beaten. This is flatter and around off, it is the straighter one. Powell tries to defend but the ball whizzes past the outside edge.
  • 7.1 Rovman now tries to join the party. Brings out the slog sweep, the connection is now sweet but good enough to take two. 100 up for the Windies and it comes up in no time.
  • Mehidy Hasan is back.
  • 6.6 Good length on off, Powell guides it through point and a run is taken. 10 from Rahman's first but he also took a wicket. 98/2
  • 6.5 Goes short does Rahman, Lewis pulls it towards fine leg for a run.
  • 6.4 SIX! If it is in Lewis' zone he will go for it. There was a fielder at long off but Lewis does not care. Makes room, Rahman bowls it full and it is hit on the long off fence.
  • Rovman Powell is next.
  • 6.3 OUT! In the air... taken! Rahman strikes in his first over. Paul's promotion up the order has not worked. The second short ball of the over, he was shaken by the first one and perishes on the second. Goes for the pull, only manages to get a top edge. It goes way up in the air. So high that it came down with snow on it. Haque at deep square leg, judges it well and takes it. Need a few more do Bangladesh.
  • 6.2 Slower ball on a length. Paul blocks it out.
  • There is a halt in play as Paul wants a change of helmet.
  • 6.1 Top edge but safe! A short ball to begin with. Paul goes for the pull but gets a top edge over the keeper for a couple.
  • Mustafizur Rahman is on now.
  • 5.6 SIX! HUGE! What a hit! It is out of here. Short ball outside off, Lewis stays back and pulls this over square leg for a biggie into the 2nd tier. 107 meters that. Moves to 62 from just 24 balls. 88/1

  • 5.4 Short and wide outside off, Lewis is going for everything. Looks to hook this but connects with thin air.
  • 5.3 Low full toss around off, driven to mid off for nothing.
  • 5.2 Short ball closer to the off pole, Lewis pulls it over mid-wicket. Doesn't get it off the middle but enough to take two.
  • 5.1 Back of a length ball on top of off, played with a straight bat back to the bowler.
  • Keemo Paul is in at no. 3.
  • 4.6 OUT! TIMBER! Bangladesh get the breakthrough. Once again it is the skipper who steps up when his team needed someone too. Clever by Shakib. He bowls this slower and lands it on middle, Hope is done in by the pace. He is way too early in the sweep shot. Misses and it hits the top of middle. End of a brilliant opening stand for the Windies. They have provided an electrifying start. Bangladesh now though will look to pull things back. 76/1
  • 4.5 FOUR! Windies dealing with boundaries. Short delivery, Hope pulls it through mid-wicket for a boundary.
  • 4.4 Tossed up on off, Shai looks to flick but gets a leading edge towards covers.

  • 4.1 50 up for Evin Lewis. 4th fifty for him. Quick fire fifty from him. Full on off, Lewis hits it straight towards mid off for a single. The fielder throws a direct hit at the bowler's end but Lewis was well in.
  • The skipper, Shakib Al Hasan brings himself on to bowl.
  • 3.6 DROPPED! No, no, no, Hider, not at this time. Bangladesh were in desperate need of a wicket. Hasan provides the chance but it has been grassed. Flatter and on middle, Lewis goes for the slog sweep again but it goes off the inner half towards mid-wicket. Abu Hider there gets two hands to it but can't hang on. The ball bursts through and rolls behind for a single. Another expensive over as 16 comes from it. 63/0
  • 3.5 FOUR! Spin, pace it just does not matter here as everybody is leaking runs. This is short and outside off, Lewis goes back and cuts it through covers. The ball races away.
  • 3.4 SIX! Lewis with his 5th maximum. Goes down one knee and with the angle slog sweeps it over the mid-wicket fence.
  • 3.3 Gives it air on middle, Lewis pushes it to covers.
  • 3.2 A yorker now, Hope jams it down to long on for a run.
  • 3.1 FOUR! Welcome into the attack. Hope goes down on one knee and brings out the slog sweep. Connects well and it goes through mid-wicket. Dealing in boundaries are the Windies. 50 up for them and it comes in the 4th over itself.
  • Mehidy Hasan to roll his arm.
  • 2.6 SIX! 4th in the over! Just not learning is Hider. He landed the previous two balls a touch short and the results were in his favor. This time, just like the first three balls, it was bowled full and he has been hit the distance by Lewis, over the long off fence. 27 from the over. 47/0
  • 2.5 Completely foxed! Slower ball and it is on a back of a length. Lewis is early into the pull and he misses.
  • 2.4 Now a couple! Bangs it short, it is a well-directed one. Lewis goes for the pull, it takes the top edge and lands towards the deep square leg region. A couple taken.
  • 2.3 SIX! 6, 6, WD, 6! This is how this over reads till now. Total carnage here. Easy for Lewis, it is pitched up full and outside off, Lewis lifts it over mid off. The timing is excellent and it carries all the way.
  • 2.3 WIDE! Perfect fast bowler's approach! Has been hit for two biggies now bangs it short. However, it bounces way over the batsman's head and it is signaled a wide.
  • 2.2 SIX! Back-to-back maximums! Similar shot to the last ball. This too was right in the arc but it was the off pace ball. Lewis however, picks it and tonks it over the long off fence.
  • 2.1 SIX! HUGEEEE! That was right in the arc for Lewis. Full and on off, Evin hits it right over the bowler's head. The connection is such that it carries all the way. 104 meters is what it measures.
  • 1.6 Swing and a miss! Needless that by Hope, luckily for him he missed it. Outside off and on a length. Hope swings it blindly but misses. He tried to hit that over cow corner. 20/0
  • 1.5 Flicks it in calypso style, with a leg up in the air. It goes towards deep square leg and the batsmen take two. Windies off to a flier here.

  • 0.3 WIDE! Bowls it down the leg side, Lewis lets it go.
  • 0.2 Length delivery on off, Lewis flicks it through square leg. The batsmen pick up a couple.
  • 0.1 Starts with a fuller length delivery on off, Lewis plays it to point.
  • We are all set for the game to get underway! The openers, Shai Hope and Evin Lewis have made their way out to the middle. Abu Hider will open the bowling for Bangladesh.
  • Carlos Brathwaite says he is happy with what happened at the toss as there is not a lot you can do about it. Informs there is a change as Sherfane Rutherford comes in for Darren Bravo. He is hopeful of replicating the form with the ball of the first game and defend whatever, the target they have set.
  • Shakib Al Hasan says the dew will play a part later on. Mentions the wicket is a good one and it should remain the same. Further adds it was a good team performance in the last game and they need to repeat the same. Informs they are playing an unchanged XI.
  • TOSS - Bangladesh win the toss and elect to bowl first.
  • Pitch report - Tino Mawoyo says it is the same pitch on which we played in the last game. Further adds there will be some turn as it seems dry. Reckons the team winning the toss should bat first.
  • Decider! We witnessed two one-sided games in this T20I series but we will hope the final one is a closer contest. Bangladesh have the momentum with them after a superb last game and will hope to repeat the same. The hosts are over relied on Shai Hope. He will look to continue on his form but needs some support from his team. The Windies will look to bounce back and seal the series. If a couple of big hitters come good, the Windies won't be an easy side to beat. Stay tuned for the toss and team news.

  • Carlos Braithwaite, the winning captain says that he is very happy about their batting performance, not only today but over the last 3 games. Their talk before the game, was about how to not lose their way and have control over the whole innings. Coming to the bowling, he states that Keemo Paul did very well and congratulates him on a fine bowling performance. Also applauds the ones who did well in the first two games as well. Also adds that he is very proud to go apart on a winning note and feels that it is very important for a champion team like them to continue winning games and more series. Finally signs off by saying that they will hold their head high going back and also wishes everyone around a very Happy Christmas. He then heads on to collect the trophy and his team joins him, all smiles.
  • Shakib Al Hasan is the player of the series, also the captain of the Bangladesh is up next. He feels that the toss did not matter much and that the par score was around 180-185, but feels that they went wrong in their method of chasing. Feels that the problem was about losing wickets in the middle while chasing a big total. Goes on to say that he is not disappointed too much as they have played good cricket over the series and there were many good knocks and good bowling performances over the series. So, he feels that there is nothing to worry about and they just need to have more complete performances.
  • The player of the match which has been awarded to Evin Lewis. He feels that he is used to the ground as he has played for the Dhaka franchise in the Bangladesh T20 tournament for the last two years. He says that the pitch really played well and it was fun to spend sometime in the middle, get some runs and play a role in the win.
  • Windies' batting innings was superbly set up by a brilliant 89 from the left-handed opener Evin Lewis. He carted the ball to all parts of the ground. When he was batting some target around the region of par 220 was looking possible but the hosts' bowlers came back strongly and restricted the visitors to below 200. Yet, the target was always going to be a stiff one to achieve and even though there was dew, the pressure of the chase would always be there. Cutting back to the second innings, the hosts came out all guns blazing and were 62-1 in the 5th over. Then though, came the controversy and that seemed to have sparked a massive energy within the Windies players. They played as a pack and completely burst the Bangladeshi bubble. In the end, a pretty comprehensive win and an amazing way to take the match and the series. Please stay tuned for the presentation to follow.

  • 11.4 OUT! A soft feather and Bangladesh have lost their eighth. That is a 5-fer for Keemo Paul. His maiden in T20Is. The ball was short of a length and outside off, Saifuddin goes for the pull and doesn't connect properly. The ball takes a faint edge and Hope makes no mistake behid. An appeal follows. The umpire takes a while to lift his finger and Hope was almost trying to go for the review but then sees the finger and decides there's no need for it.

  • 11.2 FOUR! On a length and Saifuddin pulls it away beautifully to the right of the deep square leg fielder for a boundary. Allen runs to his right and dives in an attempt to stop the ball but fails. He also seems to have hurt himself in the process. But he is later up on his feet and seems okay to continue. Good shot though.

  • 9.5 Outside off to start with, Saifuddin pushes it to cover.
  • Mohammad Saifuddin is the next batsman in.
  • 9.4 OUT! Two in two! The Windies cannot be stopped here. A short of a length ball first up to the new comer and the ball hurries onto him. Ariful who goes for a hook mistimes the shot completely and the ball goes to mid on. The seventh wicket has fallen and it looks like the final nail in the coffin. From 62-1 to 90-7. Keemo Paul on a hattrick.
  • Ariful Haque is the next batsman in at number 8.
  • 9.3 OUT! Now Liton departs! His luck seems to have run out. Length delivery on off, Liton looks to pull but gets a top edge towards mid off where Brathwaite moves slightly to his left and takes it comfortably. Bangladesh lose their sixth wicket. Big wicket for the Windies. The last recognised batsman departs.

  • 8.3 Tosses it up on off, Das drives it back from where it came.
  • 8.2 NOT OUT! It is height that saves him. Das survives to fight another day. The Bangladesh camp will breath a sigh of relief as another wicket was the last thing they would have wanted as this time. Allen tosses this up on middle, Das goes down on one knee and tries to sweep. The ball straightens, misses the bat of Das and hits him on the pads. Appeal follows and the umpire raises his finger. Das goes for the review. Replays roll in and it shows the on-field call to be overturned.
  • Big moment in the game! Das has been given out LBW. He has reviewed. Height or impact can save him here.
  • 8.1 Nicely swept! It is played fine towards the leg side and a couple is taken.

  • Mehidy Hasan is the new batsman in.
  • 7.3 OUT! Another one has holed out and half of the hosts' side is back in the hut now. The Windies look really a different unit after the pause. The ball is a length half-volley outside off, and Mahmudullah who has looked really good so far, mistimes his lofted drive and hits it straight into the hands of the skipper, Braithwaite at mid off. This is absolute madness from the hosts! They have played unnecessary shots and have just thrown away their wickets.

  • 6.1 Short ball on middle, Das keeps low and pulls it away to the deep square leg fielder for a single.
  • 5.6 Length ball that Mahmudullah defends off the back foot. 70/4
  • 5.5 FOUR! In the air but well away from the fielders on the off side. The ball was full and Mahmudullah goes for the lofted drive. He times it really well and places it well too. A boundary results.
  • 5.4 Fuller length wide outside off, driven to the mid on fielder.
  • Mahmudullah is the new batsman in.
  • 5.3 OUT! The controversy seems to be far gone now if you have a look at the Windies players. They are running around and celebrating. Wide outside off on a length and another Bangladesh batsman has gone chasing after a ball, hits it in the air. The ball goes straight to point and guess who has taken that catch, Fabian Allen! He has been involved in all the three wickets so far after the huge pause in play.

  • 5.1 Full outside off to start with, driven hard to mid off but no run.
  • Keemo Paul is into the attack.
  • 4.6 Flatter on the stumps, it is kept out. An excellent first over by Allen, two wickets and 4 runs from it. Just the kind of over, the visitors needed to get back into the game. 66/3
  • 4.5 Flatter again on off, Rahim pushes it down to long off for a single.
  • 4.4 No hat-trick, not a good ball to bowl when you are on a hat-trick. Short and outside off, Rahim cuts it to point.
  • Mushfiqur Rahim replaces Shakib Al Hasan.
  • 4.3 OUT! Two in two for the Windies and they are right back in the contest. Once again it is reckless from a Bangladesh batsman. This time it is their skipper. Almost an identical dismissal to the Sarkar's. Allen tosses it up on off, Shakib brings out the slog sweep but ends up slicing it towards long on. Cottrell there takes a good catch diving forward. A golden duck for last games' hero. Bangladesh need another 126. Hat-trick ball coming up.
  • Shakib Al Hasan is the new man in.
  • 4.2 OUT! Needless, very needless from Sarkar. He has just thrown it away. The Windies though won't care as they have gotten a much-needed breakthrough. The bowling change has done the trick for them. This is tossed up on middle, Sarkar tries to clear long on but only gets height and not the distance. Cottrell at long on, runs in and takes a good catch.
  • 4.1 Close! This was full on middle, Liton goes down on one knee and plays the sweep, it goes off the inner half towards fine leg. The fielder from short fine leg gives it a chase and keeps it down to three.
  • Fabian Allen is into the attack.
  • 3.6 SIX! Add insult to injury! The Free Hit was outside off and on a short length. Sarkar makes room and cuts it away handsomely over the deep point fence for a maximum. The Windies look really disappointed. 30 runs off this over and that has become the most expensive over in this game, eclipsing the over of Abu Hider in the first innings that went for 27. 62/1
  • 3.6 No ball! The decision stands and the next ball will be a Free Hit! Braithwaite after a huge conversation walks back in disgust. He is seen in a huddle with his players and we are ready to go again. Coming to the ball though, it was a length ball outside off and Liton mistimes this in the air towards mid on who takes it comfortably. He throws it back as he has seen the signal from the umpire. The drama was what followed post that.
  • There is a huge halt in play here. The umpire has called a no ball and what came up on the replays, the decision seems to be harsh. The ball was a wicket one and it has agitated the Windies fielders. They have seen the replays and are protesting here. Braithwaite even asks for the umpire to take a review but the umpire says that cannot happen. Braithwaite and Co. do not want to continue without a fair decision here. The captain is seen talking to the fourth umpire as well as the match referee Jeff Crowe.
  • 3.6 Wide! It is well down the leg side and the batsman does not want to play at it.
  • 3.5 SIX of the Free Hit! The ball is a nothing one on length and just on middle and off, Liton Das stands tall and hits it right back above the head of long. It just clears the fence and this over is becoming more expensive.
  • 3.5 NO BALL AND FOUR! Seems like Thomas has overstepped here and the ball has been lifted over mid-wicket and for a boundary. He has enough space to free his arms and this is what the Windies can't allow. Replays show that the foot is slightly landing on the line with some of it behind as well. It could be termed as a pretty harsh call by the umpire.
  • 3.4 A little closer to the off stump this time, Das tries to guide it to third man for a single but he finds the point fielder. The fielder throws and hits the stumps at the striker's end. No overthrows though.
  • 3.3 FOUR! Cut away in the air and well above the infield. All the way to the fence. Easy pickings this, cannot give so much room. Seems like they haven't learned from the previous game. This is his strong area.
  • 3.2 Back of a length delivery, defended off the back foot to point.
  • 3.1 SIX! All the way for a maximum over point! The ball is wide outside off and very short, Liton Das hops and cuts this hard for a huge six over point. Amazing start to the over for the hosts, pressure on the bowler straightaway.
  • 2.6 A couple from the Free Hit! End of a long, long over. This is on the pads, Sarkar tries to flick but gets a top edge towards short fine leg. Thomas there drops the catch and the batsmen take two. So despite 9 balls being bowled in this over, only 5 comes from it. 32/1
  • 2.6 NO BALL! Poor by Cottrell! Despite being warned, he goes for another bouncer. It is above the batsman's head and it has been signaled as a no ball. Free Hit coming up.
  • 2.5 Another bumper and SS ducks under it.
  • 2.4 Goes fuller this time on leg, Sarkar tries to flick but misses.
  • 2.4 Sarkar makes room, Cottrell follows him. However, it is down the leg side, Cottrell misses the flick and it has been wided.
  • 2.3 Another excellent delivery! Sarkar has not looked confident since coming out. The short ball and it is on the body of the batsman. Sarkar tries to play the upper cut but misses.
  • 2.2 Short and outside off, Sarkar tries to cut but is beaten by the extra zip off the surface.
  • 2.2 Down the leg side, the batsman tries to pull but misses.
  • 2.1 BEAUTY! Full and swinging away late from off. Soumya does not account for the movement and tries to hit it down the ground. The ball beats his outside edge.
  • 1.6 DROPPED AND FOUR! Wide outside off on a shorter length, Das cuts it in the air towards point. The fielder jumps to his right and gets a finger tip to it but cannot hold on. The ball runs away for a boundary. A life for Liton Das and lucky for Bangladesh. Could've lost their second wicket in the over. 27/1
  • 1.5 Well outside off to start, Sarkar looks to drive away from his body. He gets an outside edge that runs down to third man. Was slightly in the air but away from all the ring fielders.
  • Soumya Sarkar is the next man in.
  • 1.4 OUT! Run Out! What a shocker! No one expected this, neither the fielders nor the crowd as there was not much of an appeal after the keeper had taken the bails off. The ball is on length and flicked away towards the deep square leg fence by Das. Powell gives chase almost all the way to the boundary and picks it up, turns around and throws it back to the keeper's end. The batsmen were going for the third run. The throw is right on top of the stumps and Shai Hope takes the bails off in a flash. Tamim though did not look worried. The leg umpire took it upstairs and lo and behold! Tamim is found short! He has to depart and that's the first one down for the hosts. Has come against the run of play. Unbeliveable.
  • A run out appeal has been taken upstairs. Tamim Iqbal is the man in question. However, the players don't seem too excited.
  • 1.4 Wide! Yet another extra. It is way down the leg side.
  • 1.3 SIX! The free hit is taken full toll off this time. Length ball on middle and leg, Das clears his front leg and hoicks it over cow corner for a maximum.
  • 1.3 Another no ball! This time it is called as it is the second bouncer in the over. The hook is missed again by Liton Das.
  • 1.2 Length ball just above the stumps, missed by Liton as he tries to hit it back straight over the bowler's head.
  • 1.1 Free Hit! Just a single off it in the end. The ball is fast and outside off on a length. Tamim looks to go over the off side but takes the top edge and the ball goes high in the air. Thomas drops the catch which wouldn't have mattered anyway. The batsmen pick up a run in the meantime.
  • 1.1 No ball! Huge overstepping from Thomas. The ball is a bouncer that Tamim ducks under and lets go. Free Hit coming up!
  • Oshane Thomas to bowl from the other end.
  • 0.6 Another short delivery, Tamim misses his pull but the keeper also misses his collection. The batsmen run through for a bye. Good start to the chase for Bangladesh. 10 from the over. 10/0
  • 0.5 SIX! Top edged for a maximum that lands just on the ropes. Short of a length outside off and Tamim dances down the wicket to smash it but gets a top edge on it. The ball flies over slip's head and all the way for a maximum. It lands on the ropes and the replays confirm the same.
  • 0.4 The plan is clear here. Not to give Liton Das any room. This one is on a shorter length and aimed at Das' body. He drops it on the off side and runs through for a quick single.
  • 0.4 Wide! It is well down the leg side!
  • 0.3 Oooh! Cut the batsman in half there! Liton Das looks to make room and hit the ball over the off side but the bowler follows him. The batsman can't put bat to ball.
  • 0.2 Bangladesh are away! Very full outside off, Tamim comes ahead to drive, takes it on the full and slices it away to the deep third man fielder for a single.
  • 0.1 Extra bounce and beaten! Short of a length and outside off, Tamim goes for the cut over point but cannot connect.
  • We are back for the chase! Tamim Iqbal and Liton Das are the openers for Bangladesh. Sheldon Cottrell to start the proceedings for the Windies. Here we go...
