  • The total now is not a big one and Windies would fancy themselves to chase this down. Will they take a 1-0 lead or will Bangladesh come roaring back? Join us to find out.
  • For Windies, their pacers were brilliant. Their ploy of playing 4 pacers worked for them. Sheldon Cottrell was the pick of the bowlers for them picking up 4 wickets. He was well-supported by the rest. Every bowler except for Powell managed to pick a wicket.
  • Bangladesh came out with an attacking approach after electing to bat. They did manage to score runs but lost wickets at regular interval. They scored 54 in their Powerplay but lost a total of 4 wickets. Shakib then continued but received minimal support from the other end. He got to his fifty but fell at the wrong time for Bangladesh. The lower order failed to contribute and hence, the hosts failed to play out their full quote of overs.
  • Sensational bowling performance from Windies. Bangladesh have been all out for 129. Carlos Brathwaite will be a happy man going into the dressing room with a target of 130 to chase.
  • 18.6 OUT! That is it! BANGLADESH HAVE BEEN BOWLED OUT FOR 129! Paul gets his second in the over. It is on the stumps, Rahman plays a nothing shot, fails to put bat on ball and it makes a mess of the stumps.
  • 18.5 Length again around off, the batsman guides it to point.
  • Mustafizur Rahman is the last man in for Bangladesh.
  • 18.4 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! No. 9 down! It is on a length outside off, Hasan goes for the heave but only manages to get a faint edge to Hope who takes an easy catch.
  • 18.3 Shortish and around off, Hider is late on his pull, it goes down to long on for a run.
  • 18.2 Now hits it down to long on to follow the boundary with a single.
  • 18.1 FOUR! Ideal start to the over! A poor ball! Short and wide outside off, Hasan cuts it through point and the ball races away.
  • Keemo Paul to bowl the 19th.
  • 17.6 Very full and on middle, the batsman works it back to the bowler. 123/8
  • 17.5 Shortish and on the body, the batter works it towards square leg for a single.
  • 17.4 Back of a length on off, the batsman guides it to point.
  • Abu Hider is the new man.
  • 17.3 OUT! That's the big fish! The skipper cannot see off this inning. The over pitched delivery is followed up with a short one. Shakib tries to pull this one over square leg for a maximum but gets the top edge on it and Cottrell takes an easy one. A good innings from the skipper comes to an end. He did not have any firm support from the other end and with this wicket the Windies have easily reduced 10-15 runs from the total they will be chasing.
  • 17.2 SIX! Over pitched on off, Shakib gets his front foot out of the line and heaves it through mid on for a maximum. A very loose delivery by Cottrell. Shakib's eyes lit up as soon as he saw that delivery.
  • 17.1 Length delivery on off, Miraz defends it off the back foot and quickly gets off the strike.
  • 16.6 FOUR! A boundary to end the over! A lucky one. However, it is still an excellent over, 5 and a wicket from it. Shakib comes down the track and swings blindly. The ball takes the outside edge, goes away from the keeper and down to the third man fence. 115/7
  • 16.5 Only a single now as Hasan works it towards mid on.
  • 16.4 Short and outside off, Hasan tries to cut but misses. 4 dots so far in this over.
  • 16.3 The batsman has played that off the front foot and into the ground.
  • 16.2 A yorker to begin with. Hasan jams it out.
  • Mehidy Hasan is the next batsman in.
  • 16.1 OUT! He strikes straightaway! Poor, very poor by Saifuddin. He has his skipper on the other end who is striking the ball very well. He should be giving him the strike but no, he clears his front leg and tries to clear the man at long on. Does not get it off the middle and Pooran at long on runs in and takes an easy catch. Bangladesh now in danger of being bowled out.
  • Carlos Brathwaite is back on.
  • 15.6 SIX! Fifty for the skipper! His 8th in this format. He is leading from the front and holds the key for Bangladesh if they are to get to a competitive total. Shakib charges down the track and lofts it over mid-wicket for a wonderful maximum. 110/6
  • 15.5 Saifuddin gets off the mark with a flick down the leg side.
  • 15.4 OUT! Windies have broken this partnership as these two were trying to steady the ship here. Tossed up on middle, Haque was tempted to play the slog sweep, he couldn't resist and goes for it. • 14.6 FOUR! Finally a boundary for Haque. He was looking for the boundary since the first ball but he gets a boundary this time. It was a length delivery on off, Haque lofts it over mid off and the ball races away to the fence. Still a good over for the Windies. Just 4 from the over. 102/5
  • 14.5 Length delivery on off, Ariful pushes it towards covers. The batsman goes for the run but the non- striker was not interested in the run and sends him back. Allen has a shy at the stumps but misses the stumps. Ariful would have been a goner if it had hit the stumps. 5 back to back dot balls for Paul.
  • 14.4 Back of a length on middle, Ariful defends it off the back foot and onto the ground.
  • 14.3 Back of a length on middle, Haque tries to guide it towards third man but the ball hits the upper half of the bat and the ball goes towards the bowler.
  • 14.2 Similar delivery, same result.
  • 14.1 Length delivery on off, Arful cuts it straight to the backward point fielder.
  • Keemo Paul is back on.
  • 13.6 Length delivery on leg, flicks the pad of the skipper. 98/5
  • 13.5 Shorter delivery by Thomas, Haque beautifully pulls it away to the fine leg region. But there's a fielder in the deep so the batsman will only get a run.
  • 13.4 Length delivery on off, the skipper pulls it away through mid-wicket for a single.
  • 13.3 Shorter on length, Shakib cuts it away but straight to the fielder at backward point.

  • 13.1 Length delivery on off, Ariful flicks it away to square leg to rotate the strike.

  • 12.5 Driven nicely down towards long off but only for a single.
  • 12.4 Back of a length around off, Hasan tries to guide it to third man. The shot is not on though as it is too close to the off pole. He ends up chopping it to point.
  • 12.3 That stays low! It is bowled outside off, Shakib swings but misses as the ball does not bounce as he anticipates it to.
  • 12.2 On the middle stump, Ariful works it through mid-wicket and a run is taken.
  • 12.1 FOUR! Welcome to the attack, Powell. A loosener to begin with and a much-needed boundary for Bangladesh. It is short and on the body, Haque swivels and pulls it through backward square leg. The ball races away.
  • Rovman Powell is on now.
  • 11.6 Drifting down the leg, Haque tries to flick but misses it and the ball hits the pad. The ball is missing the leg stump and goes towards the square leg region. The batsmen pick up a single. 86/5
  • 11.5 Flighted delivery outside off, Arif opens the face of the bat and guides it away through backward point for a couple.

  • 10.2 OUT! He has! Good take by Hope and Bangladesh now have half the side back in the hut. The bowling change has worked wonders for Windies. Also, it is a timely wicket as the partnership was building up well. It is the slower ball around off, Mahmudullah tries to guide it towards third man. The ball though kisses the outside edge and goes low towards Hope. He dives and seems to have taken it. He does claim it and the umpire at first raises the finger. Mahmudullah starts walking but then is stopped by the umpire as he wants to be sure. It is taken upstairs. Replays show that it is clean as a whistle. Windies are ecstatic.
  • Has that carried? Hope is not sure, however, Tanvir Ahmed first had his finger up but then, just to be sure has taken it upstairs. Hope seems to be confident.
