Former India captain and coach Rahul Dravid will reportedly receive the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award in New Delhi on 15 March (Sunday) during the annual awards ceremony (NAMAN), while India Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill will be named the Men’s Cricketer of the Year.
Dravid, who guided India to the 2024 T20 World Cup win as coach and Test series victories in England and West Indies as captain, will be the latest entrant in the prestigious BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award list, according to the Indian Express. Gill, who led India to a memorable 2-2 series draw in England last year while also starring with the bat, will be conferred with the Polly Umrigar Award for Best Men’s International Cricketer. Jasprit Bumrah won the same award last year.
