Bangladesh vs Ireland, 3rd T20I Toss Update: IRE opt to bat first in series decider in Chattogram

Ireland have won the toss and decided to bat first in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday, December 2.

Bangladesh skipper Litton Das too said that he wanted to bat first as the pitch seemed dry. Bangladesh added Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain and Shamim Patwary to their playing XI. Stirling too made three changes to his playing XI, adding Curtis Campher, Craig Young and Ban White to the mix.

Ireland started the T20I series on a winning note as they dominated Bangladesh in the first match. Ireland scored 181 and then registered a victory by a comfortable 39-run margin. The visitors put up a solid performance again the second match as well before Bangladesh eked out a four-wicket win with just two balls left in the contest.

Both teams would want to win the series to boost their confidence ahead of the quickly approaching T20 World Cup, which will take place in February-March next year in India and Sri Lanka.
