The tension ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 clash between India and Pakistan has reached a new high. Indian journalists covering the tournament in the UAE have claimed on social media that Pakistani players were shouting “6-0, 6-0” during a recent practice session in Dubai.
Why were Pakistan players shouting 6-0?
The chant is believed to be a reference to the Pakistan Air Force’s claims that they shot down six Indian fighter jets during the recent conflict following Operation Sindoor. The Indian Air Force has also made similar claims that they shot down at least five fighter jets and one large aircraft during the skirmishes in May.
Pakistan players are not playing their dirty games outside the field but have started it inside the field. Shouting 6-0, 6-0 while playing foot volley in their warm-up routine. Someone remind them, 11 players play cricket. Shameless.

Tomorrow's match is going to be different.
The drama comes after Pakistan skipped the pre-match press conference again ahead of the Sunday game, continuing their protest over the handshake controversy from the group stage. In that match, India had dominated Pakistan in a one-sided victory and refused to shake hands with their opponents, citing the Pahalgam terror attack in April.

More ShortsFollowing the first India-Pakistan clash, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) to remove match referee Andy Pycroft, claiming bias towards India. The ICC rejected the request twice, forcing Pakistan to play their next group stage game against the UAE under the same official.
Despite all the controversies, Pycroft has again been appointed as match referee for the India vs Pakistan Super 4 clash.
