After a thrilling 10-run win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match on 18 May in Jaipur, Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a hilarious post-match moment with Yashasvi Jaiswal. During his conversation with Jaiswal, Arshdeep cheekily trolled Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan with ‘win or learn’ reference.
Arshdeep shared a fun Instagram video with Jaiswal after the match on Sunday. In the video, Arshdeep jokingly says, “Bohot maara be, dhaaga hi khol diya” (You smashed me so hard that the ball’s seam tore apart), a famous dialogue from Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
Jaiswal laughingly replied to Arshdeep’s joke, saying “Ekdum, maine bola tha isko, mai maarunga ek din” (Exactly, I told him I’d hit him one day). But the highlight was Arshdeep’s witty caption on his post. He took a friendly dig at Mohammad Rizwan’s famous post-match ‘win or learn’ comment “Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn… and then win.”
Arshdeep Singh trolls Mohammad Rizwan
Arshdeep wrote, “Sometimes win, sometimes learn & win.” Rizwan has faced a lot of trolling in recent months, mostly because of his broken English during interviews. One of the biggest meme trends has come from his now-famous ‘win or learn quote. Rizwan himself addressed the trolling during the start of PSL 2025. In an emotional statement, he admitted that he never went to school properly and that’s why he struggles with English.
Despite Jaiswal’s brilliant batting, RR lost the match to PBKS by 10 runs thanks to Harpreet Brar’s outstanding effort with the ball. The Royals got eliminated from IPL 2025 because of the loss. Meanwhile, PBKS managed to qualify for the playoffs after Gujarat Titans beat Delhi Capitals in the next match of the day. GT and RCB also qualified after that.
