Pace bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar and entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok have tied the knot in a ceremony that saw the elites of the cricketing world and Bollywood participate.

Arjun Tendulkar tied the knot with Saaniya Chandok in a glitzy wedding ceremony that took place in Mumbai on Thursday, March 5. The wedding marked the end of the week-long celebrations that saw several stars from the cricket world and Bollywood in attendance.

The duo announced their engagement in August 2025 in a private ceremony. Arjun, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is a pace bowling all-rounder who is a regular feature for Goa in domestic cricket. He was traded from Mumbai Indians to the Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League.

Saaniya,  a successful entrepreneur, comes from a prominent business family background. Apart from her career, she is also actively involved in initiatives related to animal care and welfare.

Among cricketers, names like MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, Ashish Nehra, Venkatesh Prasad and many others were seen in the week-long ceremony. In fact, the current head coach of the Indian team Gautam Gambhir also attended the wedding just hours before the start of the crucial India vs England semifinal that also takes place in Mumbai.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah and the current India chief selector Ajit Agarkar too were in attendance.

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi were also invited for the wedding celebrations.
