The FIFA World Cup 2018 will be held in Russia from 14 June to 15 July. FIFA 2018 will be the 21st edition of the World Cup. The 2014 edition was won by Germany. There are 32 teams divided into eight groups of four each. This is the first time since 2006 that the World Cup will be held in Europe. There will be a total of 64 matches played across 12 venues located in 11 cities. Defending champions Germany had topped their group with two wins and a draw in the last edition and went unbeaten throughout the campaign to lift the trophy.
