Dubai’s princess Shaikha Mahra is rewriting the rules again.

Just eight weeks after announcing her ‘instant divorce’ on social media, princess of Dubai and daughter of the city’s ruler, Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is making waves again.

This time for her latest business venture—a perfume line named ‘Divorce’.

The princess in July shocked the world with an Instagram post accusing her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum, of infidelity, stating he was “busy with his other companions.”

Here’s what we know about ‘Divorce’.

The 30-year-old member of Dubai’s royal family recently came into the spotlight on Instagram by unveiling a teaser for her latest perfume. The social media post showcased a sleek black bottle engraved with the intriguing name “Divorce.”

The teaser included a montage of scenes featuring her and the piercing eyes of a black panther.

Part of her luxury Mahra M1 brand, the new fragrance has already captured the curiosity of her hundreds of thousands of followers.

Known for sharing glimpses of her life and business ventures, the Dubai princess is also a prominent social media influencer with over 980,000 Instagram followers.

As one of the world’s wealthiest royals, her net worth is estimated between $14 and $18 billion.

The perfume’s name unmistakably references her recent high-profile divorce from her Emirati businessman husband in July.

The royal romance, which began with a lavish wedding in Dubai just over a year ago, was going well and the couple even when they welcomed their firstborn daughter in May, naming her Mahra after her mother.

Signs of trouble emerged when Sheikha Mahra posted a cryptic photo cradling her daughter, captioned “Just the two of us.”

Weeks later, the princess made headlines by using triple talaq, an Islamic practice typically used by men to initiate divorce, to announce their separation, marking a dramatic and unforeseen end to their marriage.

‘Very demure, Very princessey’

After the launch of the new perfume line, the praise for the princess quickly flooded in.

One user commented, “Do you see how Mahra is moving accordingly? Very demure, very quietly, very princessey. She is not like most of you throwing tantrums or making videos online. No, she is very classy, very reserved, very standing on business.”

Another user noted, “When women are done dealing with you, they are done.”

A third added, “So creative! Your ex is burning in pain lol.” Another cheerfully remarked, “I’m sure it smells like freedom.”

Despite the buzz and anticipation, the princess has yet to reveal the perfume’s top notes or the official release date for purchase.

‘Divorce’ has even reached Fragrance mogul and Kayali owner Mona Kattan who inquired, “Where can we order?!”

Meanwhile, another user quipped, “Must admit it’s kind of iconic.”
