A particularly scathing comment read, “Lauren Sanchez’s outfit for the inauguration of the President of the United States is downright appalling. A white suit paired with a lingerie overload lace bodysuit is not only inappropriate but outright disrespectful for such a monumental and historically significant event."

Some also questioned Sanchez’s presence at the event, given the limited indoor seating capacity and restrictions on spouses.

One user wrote, “Why is Lauren Sanchez at the inauguration? It was supposed to be scaled back because of limited space and no spouses allowed, even for Trump’s administration, yet Bezo’s girlfriend is there?”

Zuckerberg’s ‘awkward’ stare caught on camera

Adding fuel to the social media frenzy was an awkward moment involving Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg. Cameras caught Zuckerberg sneaking a not-so-subtle glance at Lauren Sanchez’s cleavage during the ceremony.

The ill-timed video showed the Meta CEO stealing a quick peek at Jeff Bezos’s fiancée before awkwardly looking away and flashing a smile—an interaction that instantly set the Internet abuzz.

The awkward moment was even more striking considering that Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan, was seated right beside him on the other side.

Some online commentators playfully speculated that an MMA fight might now be brewing between Zuckerberg and Bezos. Who is Lauren Sanchez?

While Lauren Sanchez is widely recognised as Jeff Bezos’s glamorous partner, her professional accomplishments extend far beyond her relationship with the Amazon founder.

Born in 1969 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Sanchez is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and former TV anchor.

She began her career working for Fox Sports Net before becoming an entertainment reporter for ‘Best Damn Sports Show Period’. In 1999, she returned to KCOP-TV to anchor UPN News 13, where her team won an Emmy Award for their work.

Sanchez went on to gain greater prominence as the host of ‘Good Day LA’, a morning show she worked on from 2011 to 2017. She also hosted the popular Fox show ‘Extra’. She also made several film appearances, including roles in ‘The Longest Yard’, ‘Flight Club’, and ‘Ted 2’.

Apart from her media career, Sanchez is also a licensed helicopter pilot and the founder of Black Ops Aviation, a film production company specialising in aerial filming. As a skilled pilot, she even worked as a consultant on major film projects, including Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk’ in 2017.
