Summers are here, and so is the season of mangoes, one of India’s most favourite fruits.

During these scorching summers, people from not only the country but the world eagerly await the arrival of Indian mangoes, renowned for their unparalleled taste, fragrance, and quality.

The demand for the national fruit is immense. As per data, in 2022-23, India exported around 22,963 metric tonnes of mangoes to 41 countries, with more than half to the UAE.

These exports significantly bolster India’s economy, and the mango also serves as a cultural ambassador.
