After more than seven months of the battering war in Gaza, the International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor Karim Khan said that he had requested warrants in the International Criminal Court (ICC) for arrest of top Hamas and Israeli figures, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The chief prosecutor on Monday, said he had reasonable grounds to believe the five men including PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and other senior Israeli and Hamas figures “bear criminal responsibility” for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the 7 October attacks and the subsequent Gaza War.
