We are days away from the Union Budget 2024 (1 February) and all eyes will turn to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she will present the last budget for the Narendra Modi government before the 2024 general elections. This will be the sixth time that Sitharaman will be presenting the Budget. But it’s important to note here that this won’t be like any regular budget. This will be the interim budget of the next financial year and not the complete budget. This means that the policies listed during the presentation won’t come into effect until the new government is formed.
