The vote is on. And it seems, it’s advantage BJP. Elections are being held across the country to fill 56 vacant seats in Rajya Sabha, the Upper House of the Parliament. The election was necessitated as the terms of 56 members from 15 states will end in April.
It’s important to note that 41 of the 56 candidates have already secured their seats “unopposed.” Of the 15 remaining seats, 10 are in Uttar Pradesh, four are in Karnataka, while one seat is in Himachal Pradesh.
