Israel’s war in West Asia has dramatically expanded in the last months.
The most recent attack was on Qatar on Tuesday (September 9), making this its first-ever airstrike in Doha. Hamas claimed that the strike targeted senior figures, including Khalil al-Hayya who was the group’s exiled Gaza leader and main negotiator. The attack led to widespread international condemnation, especially from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, along with severe disruption of diplomatic efforts.
At least six people were killed in the strike, which targeted a neighbourhood known for its diplomatic missions and international schools.
Israel launched strikes on Lebanon, Iran, Syria, Yemen and along with Gaza and the West Bank since the beginning of the war.
Let us take a look at how Israel’s war has escalated over time.
