He will also address the first executive meeting of Assam BJP of the new year at Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra International Auditorium in Guwahati. The BJP has nine MPs from the state. Assam has 14 Lok Sabha seats with Congress having three MPs, AIUDF one and one seat represented by an independent candidate. The party leaders are keen to win at least 12 of 13 seats in the state. Pakistani court to indict Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in Iddat case A local court has decided to indict Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in the Iddat case on Wednesday. While hearing a complaint filed by Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband, Khawar Farid Maneka, Senior civil judge Qudrat Ullah said on Tuesday that the decision to frame charges against Imran Khan and his wife will be taken on the next date of hearing, according to a Dawn report. No spot booking for Sabarimala darshan from today In view of the rising number of devotees reaching Sabarimala for the Makaravillaku festival, the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has brought in restrictions, with no spot booking allowed for darshan starting today. Typically, the devotees who start arriving three days before Makaravilakku stay back at the hill shrine until they have Makaravilakku and Thiruvabharana darshan. They camp at various places in Sabarimala. Hence, more pilgrims pose a danger to their own safety and affect a smooth pilgrimage, according to TDB president PS Prasanth.
