Talks on a United States proposal for a partial ceasefire in Ukraine are set to resume on Monday in Saudi Arabia.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy earlier said the structure of the meetings scheduled for Monday would see US officials meeting with Ukrainian experts and then holding separate talks with Russian representatives.
Brazil’s Lula in Japan
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is set to visit Japan as a state guest for four days from Monday.
The visit comes as the two countries celebrate 130th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, it will be the first time since March 1996 that Brazil’s president makes a state visit to Japan.
President’s address at Chhattisgarh assembly and Odisha visit
President Droupadi Murmu will address members of the Chhattisgarh assembly as part of its silver jubilee year celebrations.
The President will also undertake a two-day visit to Odisha from today.
During the visit, Murmu will participate in the foundation day celebrations of the Bharatiya Bishwabasu Sabar Samaj at Kaliapalli in Nayagarh.

The second hearing in ousted South Korean President Yoon Seok Yeol’s criminal trial on insurrection charges.
