PM Modi in Gujarat
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Gujarat today to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) in Ahmedabad.
The celebration, according to the statement, will witness the participation of more than 1.25 lakh farmers at Narendra Modi Stadium, Motera.
He will also “dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than ₹22,850 crore” in Mahesana and Navsari.
The projects are said to encompass important sectors like road, rail, energy, health, internet connectivity, urban development, water supply, tourism, etc in districts like Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, Anand, Mahesana, Kachchh, Kheda, Bharuch, Tapi, Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Panchmahal, Valsad, and Narmada.
‘Odysseus’ moon landing today
The Odysseus moon lander, built by Houston company Intuitive Machines, is preparing for landing today at 5.49 pm EST (4.19 am IST).
Odysseus aims to be the first-ever private moon lander to safely reach the surface of the moon, following a few unsuccessful attempts by other companies in recent years.

Debate on no-trust motion on Haryana government
Haryana assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta admitted the no-confidence motion moved by the main opposition party, the Congress, against the Manohar Lal Khattar government, after a head count of over 18 MLAs as required under the rules.
The Speaker fixed the time of debate for Thursday.
Leader of opposition and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had recently accused the Khattar government of having failed on all fronts. He had said the Congress would bring a no-confidence motion during the session.
Hemant Soren’s judicial custody ends today
Last week on Thursday, former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren was sent to judicial custody till 22 February by a special PMLA court in connection with a money laundering case associated with an alleged land scam case.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha executive president was previously in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate.
Puducherry Assembly meet on account for new fiscal
The Puducherry assembly meeting will take place today to adopt the Vote-on-Account bill for earmarking funds to government departments to meet their expenditure for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The session, which would be the third part of the fourth session of the 15th Assembly, will begin at 9.45 am.
The House had its first part of the session on 9 March last year and passed the budget for the fiscal 2023-2024. The House had its session for 17 days.
International Arogya-24 meet in UP
The Yogi government is set to host the prestigious four-day International Arogya 2024 conference, themed “AYUSH for One Health,” aimed at spotlighting the transformative shifts within the AYUSH sector and fortifying public health.
