Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of three semiconductor projects in Gujarat.

Nepal’s PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is seeking to hold his third vote of confidence in Parliament by 13 March, days after he forged a new alliance with the CPN-UML.

The second Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and the fourth Vande Bharat Express from Telangana will be starting their operations today.

PM Modi to lay foundation stone of three chip plants in Gujarat

Giving a push to his vision to position India as a global hub for semiconductor design, manufacturing, and technology development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of three semiconductor projects worth about Rs 1.25 lakh crore on Wednesday via video conferencing.

While fostering the creation of employment opportunities, PM Modi will also address the youth across the country, as the programme will see participation of youngsters, including thousands of college students, along with leaders from the semiconductor industry.

The foundation stone is being laid for the semiconductor fabrication facility at the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) in Gujarat; Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility at Morigaon, Assam; and the OSAT facility at Sanand, Gujarat.

SC hearing on Kavitha’s plea in Delhi excise policy irregularities matter

The Supreme Court will hear Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha’s plea against Enforcement Directorate summons in connection with the Delhi excise policy irregularities matter.

A bench of justices Bela M Trivedi and Pankaj Mithal had earlier adjourned the hearing till Wednesday.

Kavitha, who is the daughter of Telangana former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in her plea challenging the ED summons against her, said as per norms, a woman cannot be summoned for questioning before ED in office and her questioning should take place at her residence.

Allahabad HC to hear plea in suit seeking ‘removal’ of the Shahi Idgah mosque

Allahabad High Court will hear plea regarding the maintainability of the suit seeking “removal” of the Shahi Idgah mosque adjoining the Krishna Janmabhoomi temple in Mathura.

The Hindu side claims the mosque has been built on 13.37-acre land of Katra Keshav Deo temple.

For those unversed, in May last year, the HC transferred to itself all 15 cases related to the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute.

Second Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam

The second Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and the fourth Vande Bharat Express from Telangana will be starting their operations today.

The train will run on six days (excerpt Thursday) with the regular service commencing today between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad and Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam from 15 March.

Nepal PM Prachnda to seek third vote of confidence

Nepal’s PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is seeking to hold his third vote of confidence in Parliament by 13 March, days after he forged a new alliance with the CPN-UML.

The third round of vote of confidence comes after Prachanda, a former guerilla leader, dumped the Nepali Congress and forged a new alliance with the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) – the second-biggest party – led by former premier K.P. Sharma Oli on Monday.
