PM Modi to visit Uttarkhand
PM Modi is set to inaugurate the Jadung-Jankattal and Neelapani-Mulingna pass tracks during his visit to Mukhba, the winter seat of Gangotri Dham in Uttarkashi, on February 27.
“We believe that the inauguration of these two tracks by the prime minister will give a new dimension to adventure tourism in the Nelang and Jadung valleys,” Uttarkashi District Magistrate Meharban Singh Bisht earlier had said.
Emmanuel Macron to visit Portugal
French President Emmanuel Macron will make a two-day state visit to Portugal’s Lisbon and Porto today.
He will speak at a solemn welcoming session at the Assembly of the Republic, which will be attended by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo. de Sousa, and the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro.
