Did Indian-origin techie kill his wife, twins before shooting himself in California home?

In the past few months, the deaths of Indian-origin people have continued to grab headlines in the United States. Earlier this week, an Indian-origin family from Kerala was found dead at their $2.1 million California mansion, with the police investigating the case as a murder-suicide. Shocking details have emerged as the investigation continues into the motive of the tragedy. The person suspected In the latest development in the case, Anand Henry, a 37-year-old former Meta software engineer, is suspected of killing his wife Alice Benziger, 36, and their four-year-old twin sons before turning a gun on himself. Henry, 37, and his wife, Benziger were found dead in the bathroom of their home in Alameda de las Pulgas on Monday morning, according to the San Mateo Police Department. A nine-millimetre handgun registered to Henry was lying on the bathroom floor with their bodies. The police said in a statement on Thursday, “Our investigation shows Benziger succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds, while Henry suffered from a single shot.” The twin boys, Noah and Neithan, did not die from gunfire. They showed no signs of trauma, and authorities have not yet determined their cause of death, The police allege that Henry was responsible for all four deaths. ‘No history of violence at home’ The police said there was no history of violence at the home. They said the only time they came to the house was when the family reported seeing a mountain lion in the backyard. San Mateo Police Department representative Jerami Surratt told on Facebook that they received a call seeking a welfare check on the family. “San Mateo Police officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Alameda de las Pulgas on the report of a welfare check. After arriving officers were met with no response, they searched the perimeter of the home and did not see any signs of forced entry into the house. Finding an unlocked window, officers entered the home and located the four people dead,” police said. There was no suicide note found at the scene. The suspected murder-suicide is believed to have occurred Saturday afternoon, the police said. “Our investigation into the motive for this tragedy continues. While we can’t undo this horrific incident, we would like to share with our community both domestic violence and mental health resources, because there is help and/or assistance out there, and something like this does not need to happen again,” the department said.
