On Thursday, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) conducted raids against Zubeen Garg’s manager Siddhartha Sharma in Assam days after the singer’s death.
Premises linked to the manager were searched in Guwahati’s Datalpara as per the India Today report. The CID officials arrived on Thursday morning at the complex and remained stationed outside the three-storey building for 2 hours before conducting the raid.
The search was conducted where Siddharth Sharma and his family have been residing since 2019, in the presence of the magistrate.
While Sharma’s flat was locked when the officials arrived, it was broken in the presence of the magistrate, followed by a search by the team. As per the residents of the building, the brother, sister and mother of Zubeen’s manager lived in the flat, but they were not seen since the demise of Zubeen Garg.

During the search, angry fans gathered outside the manager’s residence demanding his arrest. However, after the situation became tense, the police resorted to baton charge on the mob.
As per Voice of Assam’s X handle, Sidharth Sharma, who has been serving as the manager of Zubeen Garg since 2014, has acquired wealth and properties worth several crores and currently owns multiple high-value assets in Assam. This includes a multi-crore luxury hotel, Royal Heritage in Guwahati’s Lakhra area, a water company located in Six Mile, Guwahati, along with two luxurious flats.
Siddharth operates a Music Management Office on Zoo Road, Guwahati and has also taken over as the Managing Director of Zubeen Garg Music LLP since 2023.
Now, the big question raised here is that the singer didn’t even have half the valuation. So, how Siddharth made it so big in such a short span of time.
