A day prior to its release, the makers of the highly-anticipated Zero released the song 'Heer Badnaam', that offers a glimpse into the life of the superstar Babita Kumari, essayed by Katrina Kaif.

Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, 'Heer Badnaam' shows Katrina Kaif's Babita Kumari in utmost abandonment, as she comfortably slides in an out of roles, grooving to melodious tracks one minute and jumping atop cars the other. However, the picture-perfect world that seems to be her life is shattered when Babita is shown as a raging alcoholic; she is the battered, troubled star drowning her sorrows in gallons of whiskey. The song also introduces Abhay Deol in a cameo, supposedly as Kumari's love interest.
'Heer Badnaam' has been sung by Romy while the lyrics have been penned by Kumaar.
The Aanand L Rai high-concept directorial has piqued interest in viewers owing to its unique premise and its characters. Zero revolves around Shah Rukh Khan's Bauua Singh, who is a vertically challenged man and his encounters with superstar Babita Kumari (Kaif) and a scientist with cerebral palsy (Anushka Sharma).
