ZEE5 drops the trailer of 'Crime Beat,' a gripping investigative thriller starring Saqib Saleem and Saba Azad

Get ready for a wild ride as ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform and a multilingual storyteller, drops the trailer of its thrilling new original series ‘Crime Beat’. Directed by the talented Sudhir Mishra and Sanjeev Kaul, this intense crime drama features a stellar cast led by Saquib Saleem as rookie crime journalist, with powerhouse performances from Saba Azad, Rahul Bhat, Sai Tamhankar, Danish Hussain and Rajesh Tailang.

Produced by Content Films Productions Pvt. Ltd, Crime Beat is based on the book The Price You Pay by Somnath Batabyal. The show immerses viewers in a dangerous world where rules are bent, secrets are kept, and one journalist’s pursuit of truth could cost him everything—his career, his morals, and even his life. Get ready for a roller-coaster of suspense and intrigue, as Crime Beat takes you on a journey like never before starting February 21st on ZEE5.

Crime Beat follows the journey of a rookie crime journalist, struggling to find his footing both professionally and personally. His breakthrough comes when he uncovers a lead on a fugitive gangster’s return to India. As he delves deeper into the investigation, which has the potential to make him a journalistic sensation, he is pulled into a dangerous web of deceit and hidden agendas.
