“I feel like I’m a prisoner of war here, and I can only give you my name, rank and serial number. To be true to the people who asked me, and they are kind of my family, I have to say I’ve been asked not to talk about it,” said Frank Oz, who played Yoda in the classic Star Wars movies, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Oz is likely to appear as Force Ghost before the living Jedi, as fallen Jedi has a habit to do so in the Star Wars universe. Besides portraying Yoda, Oz is known for his career as a puppeteer.

He performed the Muppet characters of Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal and Sam Eagle on The Muppet Show as well as played Cookie Monster, Bert and Grover on Sesame Street.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to hit theatres in the US on 15 December.

Actor Mark Hamill will reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in the movie and Carrie Fisher had finished filming her scenes as Princess/General Leia before she passed away last December.

Other returning cast members include Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie while Andy Serkis. Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran are the new cast members.
