Wreck-It Ralph 2: John C Reilly's reformed villain 'breaks the Internet' in exciting new teaser trailer
Disney dropped the first teaser trailer for the sequel to the Oscar-nominated 2012 film Wreck-It Ralph — Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2.
After having taken on the world of arcade gaming in its predecessor, the eponymous villain-turned hero and his adorable sidekick Vanellope von Schweetz enter the big, bewildering world of the internet.
The trailer opens with an arcade owner who installs a wi-fi router, which gives our beloved protagonists access to world of pop-up ads and paintings of “sorrowful kittens.” It ends appropriately with a cutesy mini-game where Ralph feeds a bunny so many pancakes it explodes.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is directed by Rich Moore, who also helmed the original film and more recently Zootopia. The film has been written by Phil Johnston and Pamela Ribon.
Produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the upcoming, 3D computer-animated, comedy-adventure film will see John C Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprise their roles as Ralph and Vanellope respectively. It will also feature Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Taraji P Henson and Ed O'Neill in the voice cast.
The movie is set to hit theatres on 21 November, 2018.
