Women's Cricket World Cup Final 2025: Bollywood's love for India's victory genuine or a PR gimmick?

The Women’s Cricket World Cup will always be a night to remember and many entertainment personalities extended their congratulations at the feat. India beat South Africa in the final to create their moment of history and honour. The wishes are still pouring in on social media.

Wishes from Bollywood

The celebrities that extended their wishes are Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR, Kareena Kapoor, Preity Zinta, SS Rajamouli, Ajay Devgn, Suniel Shetty, and many more. Kareena even attended the semi finals. As India made history, the actress wrote:

A PR gimmick?

But what was surprising was that no Bollywood celebrity was clicked at the finals that happened at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium. The ones who were spotted were Nita Ambani, Jay Shah, Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Jhulan Goswami, and many more, but no Bollywood star in sight.
