Why was the Hrithik-Kangana photo leaked and are there more intimate pictures to come?

As Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s bitter battle continues with no end in sight, an intimate picture of the Bollywood actors hugging each other has gone viral. According to reports, this image of Hrithik cuddling with Kangana, who appears a tad bit uncomfortable, is from a party that took place at actor’s Arjun Rampal’s house before the pre-production of Krrish 3. Hrithik has time and again vehemently denied being involved in a romantic relationship with Kangana Ranaut, but this intimate picture that has surfaced online is doing little to support his claims. It proves that the ’love story’ was not a figment of her imagination, as claimed by Hrithik. Hrithik’s lawyer, Dipesh Mehta in his notice (dated February 16, 2016) had said, “Our client states that he and you [Kangana] have acted in two films together, and besides a strictly professional relationship, there has not been any social, personal, platonic and/or intimate relationship between our client and yourself.” But this development was expected; there is nothing to be surprised about. Known to be straight-forward, unabashedly fearless and a fighter, Kangana would have never taken it lying down. She decided to fight back to prove her rumoured former beau wrong by sending out an intimate picture of her and Hrithik. Says a source close to Kangana, “It is he who jumped to conclusion after her off-the-cuff reference to a ‘silly-ex’ in an interview. She is not all out to prove their affair or relationship. She also can’t prove her relationship with him. If he’s denying about it, she can’t do much about it and it’s okay with her if he’s not accepting. This picture which speaks volumes is just a clear message to the world that Hrithik is lying. He claimed that he didn’t know her socially but the picture proves otherwise.” And it is likely that more such intimate pictures of the actors will come out “if Hrithik continues to lie and keeps claiming that he didn’t know her socially”. Meanwhile, in the midst of this scandal and mud-slinging match, it’s heard that Hrithik has been meeting top industry big-wigs to seek their advice. Just a couple of days back, Hrithik met Bollywood’s ‘Agony Uncle’ Mahesh Bhatt for his advice to resolve the matter. Bhatt said that even though he knew Hrithik Roshan as an industry star and Rakesh Roshan’s son, he met him because Hrithik wanted his advice on how to handle this delicate situation. It’s important here to note that Kangana has acted in couple of Bhatt movies like Woh Lamhe and Gangster at the beginning of her career. Hrithik and Kangana’s public spat hinges partly on a crucial point of contention — emails, several of which have surfaced recently. Kangana has alleged that Hrithik sent her multiple emails to which she responded, only to be told that they were directed to an impostor posing as the star. Kangana further went on to say that Hrithik has hacked into her account to delete a few emails, to avoid complicating his divorce proceedings with ex-wife Sussanne Khan. Yesterday, Hrithik’s legal team claimed that the actress withheld the truth from her lawyer. “It is quite obvious that his client has withheld the truth from him, and he has not been privy to the evidences until now,” Hrithik’s lawyers said in a statement. To this Kangana’s lawyer responded, “How does Hrithik and his team know what has been told to me by my client and what has been not ? I am experienced enough to know what is the truth of the matter and whether anything has been withheld. Besides the world knows that my client is known to be brutally honest and blunt and I have, for good reasons, full faith in my client. She does not require any certificate from Hrithik and his team. If he is really speaking the truth then he should answer the questions which have been put forth to him by me, openly in my name and not through un-named sources. His acts of commissions and omissions need to be explained by him.”
