Tamannaah Bhatia song Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2 became a rage when it came out last year. In an interview, the actress even spoke about its popularity and revealed, “I can’t tell you the number of mothers that have called me up and said, ‘My child will eat food only if he hears Aaj Ki Raat’. Because bacche apne diaper mein aise aise hil rahe hote hai (moves side to side).”
And her song from Netflix and Aryan Khan’s ‘The Ba***ds Of Bollywood’ called Ghafoor also became a rage and is enjoying a lot of memes on social media. And now, netizens feel she is the best bet to ensure the popularity of a song. A user wrote on his Instagram account “Why is everyone trying to be Tamannaah from Aaj Ki Raat?” and another wrote, “Tamannaah would have given justice to any song.”
Every song that Tamannaah Bhatia has worked, be it the all-time hit Aaj Ki Raat (962M+ views on YouTube), Kaavaalaa (365M+ views), Achacho (454M+ views), Ghafoor (28M+ views) or others, she has only earned praise from her fans - cementing her as the centerpiece who breathes energy into each frame.
Also, the idea of Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty’s recent series Do You Wanna Partner is ripe. The show coming from the kitchens of Karan Johar’s production house must possess its quirks and qualities. So the frames are delightful and dazzling. There are new conflicts and challenges every episode to keep the momentum and at times mundaneness going. But ultimately, it’s fun and frothy.
In an exclusive interview with Firstpost, Bhatia spoke about her character and revealed, “I definitely think that I have played a woman that most of the people will not like. It has been my quest to play characters that are misunderstood and be okay to have failure in life because these characters are flawed, and they make mistakes more than once. But they still find ways and life is all about that. I think Jee Karda is a very different show, and Do You Wanna Partner is a completely different show. I definitely think the way female friendships have been tackled in this show, it’s a big novelty about the series. It’s very relatable in an urban set up because you and I have lived in cities.”
