Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor is all set to be seen in Netflix’s Murder Mubarak that will soon stream on Netflix. As much success as she has seen in her professional life, her personal life has been filled with ups and downs. The actress got married to businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003 and the couple and parted ways in 2014 in an ugly battle with allegations being thrown from both the parties.

Karisma accused Sunjay of domestic abuse in her plea for divorce and stated during the course of their honeymoon, he forced her to sleep with his friends and even once asked his mother to slap her. And in an interview back in the day with Hindustan Times, the actress’ father and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor said, “Everyone knows our ­credentials. We are Kapoors. We don’t need to run after anyone’s money. We have been blessed with not only money, but our talent can support us for the rest of our lives. Sunjay is a third-class man.”

He added, “I never wanted Karisma marrying him. He has debauchery in his ­system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull*** to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this.”
