When she left India to settle with her husband Sriram Nene, a Denver based cardiologist, Madhuri Dixit had a million hearts. But now, the queen of dance is all set to make a comeback in tinsel town. Madhuri, who recently judged a dance based reality show, is gearing up for her Bollywood releases Gulab Gang and the sequel of Ishqiya, called Dedh Ishqiya.
But, while Mrs Sriram Nene is back in Bombay for good. Rumours were ripe that Mr Nene would also relocate to be with his wife and kids. While several media reports claimed that the cardiologist got offers from all the top hospitals of the city, like Lilavati in Bandra and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Andheri, he seemed to have turned them down.
There were also speculations that Sriram Nene might not take up any job in India at all and head back to US soon. However, Madhuri refutes such claims.
Madhuri Dixit told Hindustan Times that a lot of planning has been going on and Mr Nene wants to do a lot of things in the healthcare sector, however, the dancing diva remained tight-lipped about what these plans are.
What plans Mr Nene has for India’s healthcare will take some time to be known, however, there were also media reports that claimed that he might take up an honourary position in BMC-run hospital.
As of now, he is still in the process of getting registered under the Maharashtra Medical Council while his wife has already started an online dance academy for all her fans.
