What's the most ridiculous thing you've seen in a movie? Sri Devi playing a woman who is actually a shape-shifting snake in Nagina? Shah Rukh Khan riding a rickshaw to chase a gang of criminals in a car in Main Hoon Na? Or a song whose lyrics go as follows: 'Your mama says you love me, your papa says you love me, love me baby, love me'?

It's a safe bet to say that Kunal Khemu-starrer Guddu Ki Gun has one of Bollywood's most ludicrous and amusing plots, if not the most ludicrous we've seen so far.

In the trailer for Guddu Ki Gun, Khemu plays 'the Bihari player' who does 'washing powder ka vyapaar aur bhabhiyon se pyaar'. In other words, Khemu's character is a womaniser who seduces married women.

Sounds semi-normal so far, doesn't it? Well, in the movie, the shenanigans of Khemu's character get so bad that God turns his character's penis to gold. Yes, you heard that right. This film revolves around the gold genitals of a man. And if you thought it couldn't get more ridiculous, everyone, from the media to the mafia, is after those gold genitals.

"Kyunki aapne itni ladkiyon ke saath hai khela, uparwale ne golden kar diya hai aapka kela," a character says in the movie.

Of course, there have been good films with whacky plots. (For example, one of the best Indian comedies, Munnabhai MBBS, revolves around a Mumbai-based don conning his way into getting admitted into one of the leading medical institutes and the hilarity that follows.)

However, it still remains to be seen whether Guddu Ki Gun will be able to impress us with its 'gold junk' theme.

Guddi Ki Gun will be released on 30 October. You can watch the trailer here:
