Watch: This Bengali film version of the National anthem will give you goosebumps

The national anthem we know and sing, is just the first of five stanzas of a Brahmo hymn composed and scored by Rabindra Nath Tagore. It’s written in Sanskritised Bengali and today makes people stand up, swell with pride and sing it out loud at school assemblies, sporting events and even in cinema halls. In a video from the upcoming Bengali film Rajkahini directed by Srijit Mukherji, the national anthem is showcased in all its glory. The entire hymn, sung out in a sombre Bengali intonation will  leave you with goosebumps and pride. The film, starring Rituparna Sengupta, Jisshu Sengupta and Saswata Chatterjee, is set in the 1947 with the partition of Bengal as its backdrop and is slated to release on 16 October, 2015. The particular version of the national anthem presented in the film has been sung by over 10 acclaimed singers and video is taking YouTube by storm with over 100,000 views in four days.
