“I have lived long enough to see the same eyes in different people.” That’s the dramatic opening line of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens official TV spot that was released on Sunday night. Lucky for us, this trailer shows us some more shots and a voiceover we’ve never seen before. The TV spot which was first released on Twitter, comes just days after the latest Star Wars trailer that took the internet by storm. There were more than 17,000 tweets per minute when the last trailer aired, and more than 1.1 million tweets about the trailer in the 12-hour period after it aired, according to a statement by Twitter. The early ticket sales for December’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” broke IMAX records in the US with more than $6.5 million for US screenings, the theatre chain said in October. Pre sales for “The Force Awakens” far outpaced first day sales for 2012’s “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Avengers” and 2013’s “Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” all in the $1 million presale range. Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on 18 December worldwide. Watch the TV spot here:
