Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan is gearing up for his directorial debut ‘Stardom’. The six-episode digital series reportedly went on floors recently in Mumbai.  A video of Aryan Khan shooting for the same in Mumbai has surfaced on social media. However, to prevent the pictures of the sets from being leaked online, two huge umbrellas were deployed to shield the same. However, the paparazzi managed to get a glimpse of Aryan moving around the set before the filming began.

In the video posted by paparazzi on Instagram handle, it can be seen that Aryan’s shoot was carried out amid tight security, and various arrangements were made to ensure privacy around the filming of the much-anticipated series.

Reportedly, Stardom’s plot revolves around the world of films. It will feature several high-profile cameos from real-life celebrities including Shah Rukh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol.  The entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama earlier reported that Aryan Khan directorial will feature Mona Singh in a pivotal role whereas it has also been claimed that Lakshya Lalwani will play the lead in the series alongside Gautami Kapoor, known for her roles in television serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Qubool Hai. Bankrolled by the Jawan actor and Gauri Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, Stardom’s script has been penned by Aryan himself.

Before Stardom, Aryan donned the hat of a director to shoot ads for his fashion label D’yavol X. He directed his father Shah Rukh Khan, and sister Suhana Khan for the ad shoot. Reflecting on his experience after shooting the advertisements, he told GQ India, “They’re both creatively stimulating in different ways. As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots.” He added, “I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to the logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot, and every angle.”
