WATCH: Rekha kisses Hema Malini at Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare wedding reception, also poses with Saira Banu

Aamir Khan hosted a grand wedding reception for his daughter Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare. The occasion was graced by Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and many other personalities of Tinsel Town and outside. The moment that stayed with fans however was when the ageless diva Rekha graced the carpet and kissed Hema Malini before posing for the paps. The two then welcomed another veteran star Saira Banu.

Jaya Bachchan arrived with daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and actress Sonali Bendre for the occasion. While posing for the paps, she got angry again and said ‘This angle, that angle, you’re teaching us.’ The reception ceremony of Aamir Khan’s daughter  Ira Khan  was a starry affair. The reception night was well decorated. From Sachin Tendulkar to Zaheer Khan to Naga Chaitanya to Juhi Chawla to Mithila Palkar to Manoj Joshi to Farhan Akhtar to Babil Khan, celebrities from different walks of life attended the reception ceremony. As a doting father, Aamir Khan was seen attending to the guests with an enchanting smile. The reception ceremony also witnessed  Aamir Khan along with his sons, Junaid Khan and Azaad and Reena Dutta, and other family members clicking pictures together. Watching the entire family in the frame was indeed a blissful moment to cherish the night. Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got married to her long-time bae Nupur Shikhare and like that the curtain descended on the biggest wedding of the year. Notably, Ira Khan is  Aamir Khan ‘s daughter from his first wife, Reena Dutta. Presently, the entire family, including Ira’s elder brother Junaid Khan, Aamir Khan’s second ex-wife Kiran Rao, their son Azad Rao Khan, and others, are in Udaipur for the celebrations. As per the itinerary, while the Mehendi ceremony is wrapped up, Sangeet is scheduled for Tuesday, while a traditional wedding is expected to take place on Wednesday, 10 January 2024.
