Watch: Ranveer Singh makes wife Deepika Padukone hug it out with Katrina Kaif at Star Screen Awards

Star Screen Awards 2018 were held a few days ago in Mumbai. It was a star-studded affair with the likes of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in attendance. It also marked the public patch-up of Bollywood’s two reigning queens, Katrina and Deepika, who were on a neverending cold war until a few months ago. The fact that both of them were romantically involved with actor Ranbir Kapoor at some point of their lives, complicated matters. A video has surfaced on the internet that shows both actresses sharing a hug during the award ceremony. Incidentally, it looked like Ranveer Singh orchestrated the hug between the actors and the video shows him clapping as well.

Kaif also attended DeepVeer’s celebrity wedding reception in Mumbai, which was one of the most talked about topics on social media. Deepika and she then went on to follow each other on Instagram. Deepika had expressed her feelings, in an interview to  Filmfare, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious (of her). I’ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she’s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her."
