Ranveer Singh was at his entertaining best when he performed on 'Aankh Maare' at the terrace of a Mumbai theatre, where Simmba was being screened

The audience may have been privy to Ranveer Singh's masala action hero avatar in his cop drama Simmba, but the actor donned his 'entertainer' crown, yet again, as he energetically grooved on the terrace of Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy movie theatre on Friday, where the film was being screened.
In the videos that have gone viral on social media, Ranveer was seen dancing to the chartbuster remake of 'Aankh Maare', as the audiences cheered him along. He was later joined by director Rohit Shetty, who recreated the iconic Singham step.

Further, Ranveer shared a live video on Instagram where he is seen trying to gauge audience' reaction, while hiding at a movie theatre. Sara Ali Khan also posted a video where she is seen buying the tickets of back-to-back shows of her films Kedarnath and Simmba. Videos of her interacting with fans outside cinema halls have also become a rage on social media now. Simmba, which opened in theatres on 28 December, has been receiving mixed responses from audiences and critics. The film amassed Rs 20.72 crores on the first day, and gathered momentum in the latter part of the day. It is being touted by trade analysts as Ranveer Singh's biggest box office opening ever.
