A new song from Dedh Ishqiya was released today and it gives Madhuri Dixit’s fans a lot to look forward to in her comeback film. Hamari Atariya Pe features Dixit dancing kathak-inspired choreography by Remo D’Souza. While the actress looks lovely in the video, we can’t help but be totally charmed by the girls who share the screen with Dixit as backup dancers. Predictably, Dixit comes across as elegantly expressive and although there is little movement in the dance number, her grace makes her seem flawless. As introductions go to Begum Para, Dixit’s character in Dedh Ishqiya, this one’s enchanting. There are whispers that her character has shades of grey. With Dedh Ishqiya, director Abhishek Chaubey takes his audience back to the underbelly of Uttar Pradesh. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi and will release on 10 January 2014. Shah and Warsi will reprise their role of Khalujan and Babban from the 2009 hit film, Ishqiya.
