The latest trailer of Dhanush's upcoming romantic thriller Thodari has managed to build up more excitement for the actor's much awaited release.

Watch: In Thodaris new trailer, Dhanush is at the centre of this story of a hijacking

Thodari, directed by Prabhu Solomon, starring Dhanush and Keerthy Suresh has been in the making for a while and release dates were earlier postponed. As a means perhaps to appease fans, this new trailer has been released, with rumours that Dhanush will announce the release date soon.

The first and second trailers of the movie, give us a glimpse of a train journey which involves action, romance and drama.

By the looks of it, it seems like the plot revolves around a train hijack, where Dhanush plays the role of a pantry worker and his love interest played by Keerthy Suresh, is a key link to the hijack.

Dhanush slips into the skin of his character while Keerthy makes viewers wonder about the connection between the seemingly naive, innocent girl and the hijacking.

Thodari seems to be different from Dhanush's previous releases like Maari and Thanga Magan. But, even in this edgy thriller he does not leave his 'mass' side behind as he is seen giving crowd pleasing punch lines through the trailer.

It would also be interesting to see the combination of Prabhu Solomon and Dhanush. This will be the director's first movie with the star after giving hits like Mynaa and Kumki where he worked with mostly newcomers.

With Thodari, both Prabhu and Dhanush seem to have experimented with their style, as the two usually have worked with plots very different from each other's interests. Perhaps, that is why fans are eager to see if they can witness a new side of Dhanush.

Also, D Imman has composed some breezy tracks for Thodari. Prabhu and Imman have given several hits in the past and have teamed up once again for this romantic thriller, while the songs have already scored pretty well among the audiences.
