Watch: In 'Tere Sang Yaara' from 'Rustom', Akshay Kumar, Ileana D'Cruz rev up the romance

After unveiling the official trailer to much appreciation from fans and the film industry, the Rustom team has now shared a song from the movie on YouTube. Screengrab from YouTube[/caption] ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ is a romantic number, with vocals by Atif Aslam. Ankit Tiwari, Raghav Sachar, Arko Pravo Mukherjee have composed the music for Rustom. ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ is the song which establishes Akshay Kumar (Rustom Pavri) and his wife’s (played by Ileana D’Cruz) love story in the film. Accordingly, the visuals are of Akshay meeting Ileana abroad and being bowled over by her, wooing her, proposing marriage, and then a glimpse of their married life together in Mumbai. There are also scenes of Akshay’s life on board a Navy vessel, where his character is stationed for long lengths of time. Rustom is inspired by the sensational Nanavati case — in which decorated Navy officer Mankeshaw Nanavati shot dead the lover (Prem Ahuja) of his English-born wife Sylvia, when he discovered their affair. The incident led to a pitched court battle which effectively led to the end of the jury system of trials in India. Watch ‘Tere Sang Yaara’ here:
