We have all seen Shah Rukh Khan hosting big ticket film award shows, television reality shows and even stepping into Amitabh Bachchan’s shoes in Kaun Banega Crorepati. But have you seen him hosting a musical show?
Not many might know that apart from acting in some Doordarshan shows like Circus and Fauji, Shah Rukh in his younger days even hosted some music shows for the public broadcaster.
SRK fans will be delighted to see a rare 1980s video that has surfaced on Youtube where he is seen introducing Kumar Sanu on a musical show.
Seen in baggy clothes, a young King Khan introduces Kumar Sanu as the one whose singing style is similar to Kishore Kumar.
In the 1990s, Kumar Sanu went on to become SRK’s voice in many of his blockbuster films including Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Baazigar, Pardes, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain and many others.
