Watch: 'Beliya' by Vishal-Shekhar in collaboration with British boy band The Vamps
'Beliya' was conceptualised and recorded in London by Vishal and Shekhar adding the essence of Indian music with the vocals of the popular band.

The great Bollywood composer duo Vishal-Shekhar, who have provided the soundtrack for Jhankaar Beats (2003) and Om Shanti Om (2007) and most recently Happy New Year (2014) collaborated with the British boyband The Vamps for a new single 'Beliya'.
It looks like The Vamps, like other boy bands out there, add auto-tune to any song they lend their voice to. Though the song might seem a bit generic at the beginning, Vishal-Shekhar's penchant for providing the right beats saves the song from being an auto-tune disaster. The addition of the Indian beats to the song lends it a unique sound and you will be definitely listening to the song on loop.
The song, which was launched on 17 August 2016, sees Vishal and Shekhar jamming with the band comprising Connor Ball, Tristan Evans, James McVey and Brad Simpson.
Many Bollywood celebrities showed their support for Vishal-Shekhar's new single on Twitter:
