[WATCH] Ankita Lokhande loses cool on paparazzi at Swatantrya Veer Savarkar screening: 'This is not right'

Actress Ankita Lokhande is presently in the news for her latest release, ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. A special screening of the film was also held in Mumbai on Friday, 22 March, where the actress was seen in attendance. However, an incident at the screening seemingly left the actress upset, prompting her to lash out at the paparazzi. In a video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Ankita can be seen asking the media personnel to back off and not crowd out the venue.

As Ankita came out to welcome her Bigg Boss co-contestants, Abhishek Kumar and Khanzaadi, to the event, the media was seen hounding the duo at the entrance, asking them for pictures. However, this didn’t go well with the Pavitra Rishta actress, who immediately yelled at the media and asked them to maintain decorum.

“Film chal rahi hai, bahar chaliye. Please, this is not right, this is really not done. Thoda sa rakh lo yaar, kya baat hai yeh?” (The film is going on. Please go out. This is not done. What is all this?), Ankita can be heard saying.

Ankita Lokhande, who plays a significant role in Swatantrya Veer Savarkar , was joined by her husband, Vicky Jain, along with her Bigg Boss co-contestants, like Ayesha Khan, Samarth Jurel, Isha Malviya, Abhishek Kumar, and Khanzaadi, at the film screening on Friday night. Several videos of the group have gone viral on social media.

Notably, the film marks Ankita Lokhande’s big return to the big screen. She recently made news following her stint in Bigg Boss 17. The actress was eliminated in the final stages of the show.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

Featuring actor Randeep Hooda in the lead role, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar focuses on the journey and struggle of Indian freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. The biopic drama also marks Hooda’s directorial debut.

Ankita Lokhande plays the role of Savarkar’s wife, Yamunabai. Also, Amit Sial plays a pivotal role in the film. Directed and co-written by Randeep Hooda and Utkarsh Naithani, the film is made under the banner of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Randeep Hooda Films, along with Legend Studios and Avak Films.

The film released in theatres on 22 March.
