By now, most of the people interested in music must have heard ‘Hello’, Adele’s record breaking hit from her new album “25”. [caption id=“attachment_2536068” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Screen grab from Vlot’s recent mash up of Hello.[/caption] Dutch YouTube user Matthijs Vlot’s mashup mixes together clips from a smorgasbord of movies to create an absolutely brilliant version of Adele’s hit song. Get ready to see hilarious scenes form Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King_, Star Wars, The Flintstones, Tin Tin, Batman, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Harry Potter_ to name a few. However, this is not the first time Vlot has put together a mash up of a hit pop song. He’s been putting together movie dialogues and re-assembling them into the lyrics of pop hits for years. He first used David Hasselhoff clips to piece together Will Smith’s theme song to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” He even recreated Radiohead’s “Creep” entirely out of Lance Armstrong’s Oprah Winfrey interview.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last month, by now I’m sure you’ve heard “Hello,” Adele’s record breaking hit from her new album “25”.
