Mumbai Mirror
reports that Boyapati Srinu believes that Vivek, with his presence, will make the character look ruthless and menacing. He’s crucial to the plot and the director believes Vivek who has impressed with his performances in films like Company, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Rakht Charitra in the past will do complete justice to the role which is why he has been signed for a sizeable sum. Oberoi’s official spokesperson has confirmed the news. Oberoi reportedly shot his introductory scene for the film recently in Vijayawada with 2,000 junior artistes. The Telugu action drama will reportedly also star Ram Charan, in the lead role. Oberoi was previously seen in a villainous role in Siva’s 2017 Tamil action thriller Vivegam
where he locked horns with Ajith Kumar. Last year, he also ventured into the digital space as an antagonist in Karan Anshuman’s sports thriller Inside Edge
, Amazon Prime Video India’s first original. Vivek was last seen in the Y Films heist comedy
Bank Chor
last year, in which he starred alongside his Masti co-star Riteish Deshmukh.
