Vikas Khanna hosts special dinner for Emmy winner Ektaa Kapoor, prepares special dishes for her

In a proud moment for the country, Indian filmmaker Ektaa Kapoor was recently conferred with the prestigious Directorate Award at the 51st International Emmy Awards. With this, she became the first Indian woman filmmaker to receive an Emmy. Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from across the country for her achievement. Among them includes celebrity chef Vikas Khanna who recently hosted a special dinner for the Emmy winner. Notably, Vikas Khanna has been sharing Ektaa Kapoor’s win ever since she received the award. She also attended the award function and shared videos and pictures of her massive win. In a recently-hosted dinner party for Ektaa Kapoor , Vikas Khanna prepared special dishes for her. The filmmaker took to her Instagram handle and shared a video from the dinner night while expressing her gratitude. “Last night dinner with d master chef Vikas Khanna! From mh heart to my stomach we were full woth love !! Thanku for d warmth n hospitality !!! Hope to see u in bby soon,” she wrote.

In the video, Vikas can be seen preparing special dishes for the night while serving them to her plate on the dinner table. The Masterchef judge had also prepared a special kada prashad for Ektaa. “Khada prashad for the queen of India,” he wrote. Apart from that, he also shared another video from the award night, showing glimpses of the producer as she gave her acceptance speech. “EKTAA OWNED THE INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS TODAY. So much authenticity, pride & dignity. Every word was from heart. This is to our motherland,” he wrote. In the meantime, social media also remained abuzz as it was a pride moment with both Ektaa Kapoor and Vir Das bagging an Emmy each.
