The film will be produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh of AGS Entertainment, writes The New Indian Express. Creative producer Archana Kalpathi shared a photograph from the launch, where a pooja was held.
According to The News Minute, Kathir of Pariyerum Perumal-fame, veteran comedian Vivek, Anand Raj, Daniel Balaji and Yogi Babu will be seen in pivotal roles as well. AR Rahman will score the music for the Vijay-starrer after working with him in films like Dhaya, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, Mersal and Sarkar.
Vijay may be seen as a coach and is currently training with professionals for his role, states The News Minute. He is also expected to lose weight for the character, a first in his long career.
