Vidya Balan and Girish Kulkarni have taken top honours at the National Film Awards that were announced in New Delhi on Wednesday. Vidya Balan won the Best Actress award for her role as Silk Smitha in The Dirty Picture, and Kulkarni was adjudged Best Actor for his portrayal of Keshya in Deool, a Marathi film. The best film award went to the Hindi language film, I am.
The Best Choreography award went to the popular “Senorita” from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara while Chillar Party was adjudged Best Children’s film.
